Goji berry induced mutations and seedless types

PostAuthor: Agronomist Ariel » Thu Apr 09, 2015 9:58 pm

Hi all
The Goji berry is self pollinated and there are plenty of seeds in the fruit provided the right soil water and temperature- relative humidity-nutrients..... are provided .

I wonder why mutations are not reported as this plant grows in open fields under solar radiation which cause in certain conditions- mutations.

Another way to induce mutation is by various chemicals which may give 3n, 5n plants which are seedless.

I wonder if anyone tried to produce such plants by Tetracyclene or irradiation?
